At the age of twenty-two, he began to engage with new literature and study new poetry. In his youth, he was admitted to the Kuomintang Central School and engaged in military literary work. After coming to Taiwan, the style of poetry changed. Baye was the work of this stage. Yang Ranye attaches great importance to the exercise of words and sentences, and he also tries to give new meaning to classical words. His prose, as he has said, "still cannot break away from the rhythm of the rhythm of poetry," and the content is also dominated by stolen goods, recklessness, and narration. In addition to poetry, Yang Ranye is also unique in calligraphy. In 1974, he formed a "book of the Forefinger" with Zhuang Yan, Fu Fufu, Wang Zhong, Yu Huasu, and Dai Lancun. He died in Taipei on October 4, 1994.
