In 1771, Emperor Qianlong instructed the construction of the Kanzhuer Temple. In the 46th year of Qianlong (1781), the Kanjur Temple was built. In 1785, the Qianlong emperor inscribed the "Shinging Temple" for the temple. The temple had been due to collection of Tibetan " Kanjur ", so named after the "Kanjur temple." [1]
At the height of the Kanjur Temple, there were 4,500 lamas and 16 lamas in 2009. The Kanjur Temple is a temple belonging to the Labrang Monastery in Gansu Province . Therefore, the religious activities of the Kanjur Temple and the study of the Buddhist monks were all modelled on the Labrang Monastery system. Lao Zang Living Buddha once served as abbot of the monastery. After the temple was severely damaged by the Cultural Revolution , only Shanmen survived. Today’s Kanjur Temple is a newly built temple on top of its original site, and most of the buildings are new. [2]
In early 2001, the Xinbaalhuzuoqi Banner Committee and the flag government decided to rebuild the Kanzhure Temple. On August 30, 2001, a foundation laying ceremony was held at the site of the Kanjur Temple. On July 18, 2003, the opening ceremony of the Kanjur Temple was held in Xinbaruhuzuoqi. [3]
The Kanjur Temple was named a national AAA tourist attraction in 2008 and it is the largest Lama Temple in Hulunbeir . [1]

In the 50 years of Emperor Qianlong's (1785) Ganjur Temple, the first temple fair was held. In the following 180 years, the Kanjur Temple hosted 160 temple fairs and markets. Since 1948, in Kanjur temple conducted 11 jirem Union Naadam Assembly. [1]

In the past, the total construction area of ​​the Kanjur Temple was 10,000 square meters, which consisted of 11 temples (Sokkin Temple, Sokchinche Temple, Souksein East Temple, Maharanza Temple, Sanguid Molom Temple, La The temples of Milima, Khan, Zhanba, Ceira, Nongna, and Gesar.
